Synopsis: In a place between life and death, a desperate woman tries to take her life. Her song to a siren brings her a young man who seems to have a greater part in her life than she may seem to believe. This is a story about this woman’s relationship to the sea, her dreams and her grief in the first musical ever made in Cyprus.
Director: Savvas Stavrou
Savvas Stavrou, born in Cyprus in 1988, has been making films since the age of 12. After several photography and video art installations, as well as studying Film Production in London, his focus is pulled towards publicising his first short film (the first musical to have ever been made in Cyprus), as well as developing his first feature.
He currently works as part of the Development and Production team at Focus Features and resides in London.
