Synopsis: Rajeev, an Indian, secretly loves Fadwa, an Arab girl who works in a pizza shop. When Rajeev receives a letter from his parents in Madras, he decides to declare his love to Fadwa, disobeying the wedding arranged by his mother. The Arab girl reciprocates that feeling, but her brother opposes violently.Director: Irish Braschi
Irish Braschi is a director and screenwriter. He earned a Master’s in screenwriting at the Rai. After collaboratig with many cinema and advertising directors, including Paolo Virzì, Bill Fertik, Bosi & Sironi, David Kellog, Francesco Nuti, and Lino Capolicchio, he started an autonomous artistic career in cinema and television. He has written documentaries, sit-coms and television series, short films, music videos and backstage documentaries as well as children’s theatre, street theatre and literature for children. His documentary, I Believe in Miracles, with the soundtrack composed by Oscar-winning Nicola Piovani, involved the participation of the director Spike Lee.
